Sky Stream puck - Sky Sports UHD problems

I have just signed up to sky stream with the UHD package and am experiencing the same problems. Sometimes the screen pauses and the sound continues.  My internet speed is circa 50mbps so cannot be an issue there.  Also, the puck is the only device connected and by an ethernet cable. Reading all the posts and replies this is sure an output Sky issue.  Pleasde advise

Sorry to sound stupid but I've only had Sky Stream for a week, what's the difference between Sky Sports Main Event UHD (401) and Sky Sports UHD (3050)? I thought they are both just UHD (Ultra HD)? 

I've just watched the united game on 3050 and it was perfect (for once).

50 Meg is nothing nowadays. Albeit Sky have put a ridiculously low minimum level for Sky Stream/Glass. I wouldn't touch it with lower than 100 Meg. Don't forget you may have 50 to the router but how many other devices are using your bandwidth at the same time

Tried both and still the same. It has been fine for months until a few weeks ago. I have multiple subs for loads of providers only Sky UHD is a problem on livestream sport. I can stream live sport on Prime and the quality is much better as is the picture quality.

Same for me. Prime streams perfectly in uhd., soon as watch anything on sky sports uhd live, it freezes.

Sky Sports Main Event  (401) in UK is also Sky Sports Channel (3049) on some broadcasts but not all

Sky Sports 401/3049  Main Event UHD/HDR (Note only some sports broadcast on 401 uses UHD channel 3049 but some broadcasts on 401 will be HD

Sky Sports UHD 3050 is just UHD 

The difference is

Sky Sports 3049 channel is UHD/HDR

Sky Sports 3050 channel  is UHD does not have HDR

In UK

Sky Sports 401 channel automatically  uses 3049 UHD/HDR channel if it's broadcasting the same content 

Sky Sports 3050 is UHD channel not using HDR

In Republic of Ireland

Sky Sports 401 is HD channel (You get the option on screen to select UHD version by clicking watch in UHD)

Sky Sports 3049 is main event channel UHD/HDR

Sky Sports 3050 is UHD channel is not using HDR

Note Main Event Channel 401 only some broadcasts will use UHD/HDR 3049 channel 

So sometimes channel 401  will be just HD

Sky Glass/Sky Stream  UHD Channels

493 BT Sports Ultimate

3049 Sky Sports Main Event Ultra HDR

3050 Sky Sports UHD 

3047  Can be  Sky Sports broadcast or Eurosport broadcast or F1 broadcast in UHD it will vary when that channel is used

It seems so hit and miss this Sky Sports UHD. In the week or so I've had it I was getting the same problems, freezing ect, since the new update (QS15) it's been faultless. I'm only on 65mb so isn't like 900mb some of you are on, the odd youtube video using bandwidth at the time of watching football. I'm hardwired with WiFi off on the puck. Tv is Sony xf90.

My tv (LG C1) shows the HLG HDR label on channel 3050 too.

Sky Glass 

493 is BT Sports Ultimate UHD/HDR

3047 Is a UHD channel that will be brodasting content from Sky Sports or Eurosports or F1 it will vary when that channel is in use and often not in use 

3049 is Sky Sports Main Event Ultra HDR

3050 is Sky Sports UHD

You can notice the difference  when watching channel 3049  UHD/HDR compared to when watching on 3050 instead

As you can easily see HDR in use on 3049 and not in use on 3050

In UK

Channel 401 uses 3049 automatically if it's brodcasting that content in UHD/HDR
