My sky stream was doing this all day yesterday, so much so that it lost signal on all channels and the screen went completely pixelated with tiny multicoloured pixels. I took the aerial plug out and plugged it straight into the tv and it worked perfectly.
I have the stream hardwired to our router. The router config and speeds are consistently higher than the provider (Vodafone)guarantees. I reset the sky box and all returned to normal.
I don't understand why they have an aerial socket if all channels are delivered via the internet. This is the only time it's done this since we took delivery of it.

I have sky broadband and router. The tv is connected via Ethernet. It is pixelating very all the time. I have changed the picture from auto to vivid but no difference. Please advise

There's nothing you can do except wait for Sky to fix it.
