Sky Sports UHD picture keeps stuttering

I think it's pretty obvious that Sky have not sorted out the low latency channel. When I watch 401 it's fine as well

Just think I remember Sky saying that there will be more Low Latency channels last year. This definitely needs to be sorted out

So I cancelled mine - sick of it with no potential solution on the horizon. 

for sky to address will take more consumer action 

I suspect as more and more people are pushed on to the puck sky will either invest in server infrastructure to improve it or do something about the puck to make it more resilient (more buffer memory)

until then I'm out

ps cancelling was a faff , 30+ mins on the phone and 4 different agents . Had to speak to different department to get a refund as well (promised but not yet received)

Live football on 401 or 922 was unwatchable last night.

Switched and watched on a stream through Firestick - it was UHD, Dolby Atmos and seemless.

I am locked in with Sky until July or else face high early termination charges.

With all the ads on everything the regular please wait programme is loading and the very frustrating experience watching UHD football I so wish I could get out of my contract. It's the ads and ad skip that really gets me why can't it be like Netflix and have a true ad free experience for on demand. But the stuttering on football and cutting in and out of atmos after all this time still not fixed for a premium service it feels like a lot of money for a advert filled service.

Finally....Sky have accepted responsibility but cant put a timeframe on the issue to being fixed. Is this a Christmas present from Sky?

I have responded to say well thank you...but we now we need a credit or refund due to lack of service...lets see

I've even started to notice it on the paramount app in 4k.  Had to revert to Apple TV as the constant stuttering drove me mad.

The black screen and stuttering on the latency channel is a known issue and the team are aware of it and are working on a fix.

They can't comment anymore but have said we need to watch on the non latency channel. My response then is where is our refund or credit as Sky can't seem to provide a decent system. We are paying for something and not receiving everything that we are promised

As far as I am aware it is currently an experimental feature on the LS channels so not something they would consider as being paid for rather a nice to have when it works.

But then they should not be putting something out that doesn't work correctly? Not the first time Sky have done this. They rush things out knowing that others can supply it

The only way to test it is to have multiple users accessing the streams simultaneously. Sky could have a separate beta programme where it is only available to users who sign up but this way everyone can suck it and see. It originally appeared to work perfectl,y, possibly because less users were aware of the option.
