On Glass, no issues here on both UHD channels. Can someone else using Glass please check to see if there's any problems? I do think it's more server congestion based around location. I live around the Yeovil Somerset area. Where are those of you based with multiple issues? Is there any correlation?

Yes, it's awful here in Brighton. Has got much worse in the second half of Arsenal V Palace.

Glass has no problems, just the puck. I've had glass and just got a new tv and having to rely 100 💯 on the puck which has the same problem on all TVs around the house on the pucks.

It's nearly one month since your reply Kev and as you can see from the number of complaints on this forum, the service is still atrocious - what steps have been taken and when do you anticipate we will be able to enjoy our football again on sky stream?

I even had my screen lock up completely whilst trying to watch Arsenal v Crystal Palace in HD last night - I didn't even dare try UHD!

This continuing delay is unacceptable - please do something quickly to fix this matter and at least provide us with an update on what the prospects are of an early resolution to this sorry situation.

We are in Lanzarote for Xmas. Before I left I bought an Amazon fire stick and subscribed to NOWTV. 

As per my previous posts, I had enough of the issues everyone else is experiencing so cancelled SkySpots and also UHD upgrade with Sky. 

I use surf shark VPN and NOWTV and have been watching Football and Darts without a problem with the apartments 100mbs Wi-Fi. 

the Sky puck is useless and is absolutely root cause of stuttering and picture issues. I pay £28/month for NOWTV Sky sports and UHD upgrade. Practically the same price as I was paying Sky. There are bound to be better deals post Xmas but I was time bound and had reached the end of my patience with Sky. 

i have no issue now watching sports via LG TV NOWTV app at home or on fire stick while on holiday. 

Do yourselves a favour and ditch the Sky sports subscription with Sky. Use NOWTV instead and you will notice the difference immediately.

More problems with picture and audio on Birmingham v Derby Grange on main event UHD today. Loads of image stutter and audio drop out. Absolute Skyte!

Just wanted to add that the Sky Sports UHD feed stuttered and glitched throughout the entire Derby match, not just a few brief moments. It wasn’t a one-off hiccup. It was consistent, with frequent juddering, momentary freezes and picture jumps that made watching football in 4K genuinely frustrating.

Can we get any official Sky acknowledgement of the issue and a proper firmware fix for UHD sports playback on the puck?

I'm on Sky Full Fibre Gigafast and have had this issue for the first whole year of my contract.

I won't put it on then and save myself the stress caused by Sky @JRK29 so annoying and ridiculous that they can't sort it out quicker.

Every time I watch Sky Sports main event UHD on my sky puck, the feed freezes and stutters and has to catch up with itself making the feed unwatchable. The picture and feed is fine on standard HD channel. UHD is also fine on apps accessed via native TV apps, and my laptop.

When this happens, the menu system, voice control all become slow and laggy, or stop responding, making it difficult to switch channels or restart the device.

If I restart the device, it fixes the issue for 20 minutes or so before it returns, leading me to believe this is a software/hardware issue with the Sky Puck.

I'm having the same problem, the puck is on Ethernet and WiFi turned off.

only seems to happen on live Sky Sports.

I've got multiple pucks and so have swapped a couple round and made sure the settings on the puck connected to the tv I was having issues on are the same and it's still playing up a bit on the Man U v Newcastle game, but not quite so bad.

the original puck is now connected to a 1080p tv so not expecting issues with that now.

Doesn't seem to have stuttered for the last 5 minutes (famous last words no doubt!!)

Managed to watch 20 mins of the Man U Newcastle game before it turned inro a stuttering mess. Worst I have seen it with the sound breaking up as well. Never had this issue prior to around September time

Mine is frustrating on EE 1Gb via Ethernet and is stuttering whilst watching the Man Utd / Newcastle match on UHD. My bigger frustration is the sound drops for up to 10 seconds and occasionally doesn't come back. For this and the stuttering when it gets too bad I reboot the box which sorts it. It does seem like when the box is powered for a prolonged period it is worse (standby or not). As a few others have said, it does feel like the box is underpowered for what it is being used for (probably as a cost saving measure) which is harder to fix.

Rebooted from the Settings before the game, no issues in 53Mbps EE WiFi.
