Thanks for getting back to me quickly!

Can I ask, if you haven't already, unplug your puck from the power socket for 30 seconds, before plugging back in and trying again?

Please let me know whether it improves the situation or if this has been tried already, and thanks again for your patience.

Thanks
Kev

Re: Image quality on Netflix August 2025

Thanks Kev.

only Netflix for me.

also I've tried all the unplugging options - unplugging, leaving 30 secs and turning back on

power off, hold reset button underneath puck and power on to do a hard reset

nothing has worked except the restart option from the settings menu which has already been posted as the best current answer.

for me, powering off didn't resolve the problem.

also one of my two pucks is much more heavily affected - have to restart almost every time we turn it on, the other needs a reset about once every week or two.

same household, same wifi, no other devices in conflict at the time , in fact the one that has the problem is the only device connected to that tv, whereas the other has about 6 other things to compete against.

giving lots of info in the hope it helps.

Re: Image quality on Netflix August 2025

Sometimes works when unplugging for 30seconds. Most of the time it doesn't.  Not had a single problem with one puck. The other is almost always having the issues. Sky replaced what I thought was the dodgy puck. Replacement was fine first time we used Netflix. Three hours later just the same issue. Pixelated and Almost unwatchable.

Apps have fuzzy picture through sky stream

My apps seem to bring up a fuzzy picture when watching through my sky stream, it is mainly my netflix and paramount + apps both i pay throguh sky. I know it is the device and not the tv as o downloaded netflix to the tv and tried it this way to check and worked perfectly fine so I know it is something to do with my devices. Any suggestions about how best to sort appreciated!

Re: Image quality on Netflix August 2025

I too have been experiencing this issue for a few weeks. I get very poor video quality only in Netflix through my Sky Stream puck. When I restart the puck Netflix is OK for a day or so then it reverts to poor quality.

Re: Image quality on Netflix August 2025

Same Issue for me...  Netflix becomes so blocky it's unwatchable. I've made new profiles and reset the stream puck. Initially it seems to work but the next day it is back again. I'm posting here so that when a fix is found by Sky I will be updated with what to do.

I have contacted Netflix help also who essentially went through the scripted replies of create a new profile and reset the Sky puck. They then went on to tell me the system at their end was fine so they could not log a tech support ticket with their team as there was no problem to fix. It suggests they know the problem is at the Sky end of the service....

Re: Image quality on Netflix August 2025

This is becoming a complete joke: I have 4 pucks and Netflix is terrible picture quality on all. I have restarted all pucks multiple times and as many others in this chat it works for a couple/ few hours and then reverts to a scrambled picture. I have tried restarting, reloading, powering off and on and been in Netflix settings. Netflix confirm there are no issues thier end. I cannot believe that sky cannot resolve this and the subscription payment should be suspended u til resolved.

I've cancelled. It's a joke frankly. Been going on for a month now. Sky used to be great - Comcast ruined it.

I think we all should cancel the direct debit until it's sorted £96 a month for a load of rubbish

Hi @Sharonf67 as frustrating as it is please think carefully before unilaterally cancelling your direct debit as this will have a severely detrimental effect on your credit rating.

We can see that Sky are working on the problem so hopefully they'll find a solution soon 🤞
