It would be good to have official comms from sky acknowedging a problem rather than just call handlers fobbing us off with 'do a reset'

Hi @Aland1975 there are a number of post within this tread from Sky. See post 166 and 156 for example. 

Hopefully they will get it fixed soon as it is impacting many subscribers.

Seeing as a reset of the puck seems to initially fix the problem I was going to try and make some changes in my puck to see if it helps. At the moment I have the network connection set to "do not turn off in sleep". I was wondering if this was set to " do turn off in sleep" if that may effectivley help every time the box sleeps with resetting the Netflix app connection? If it does work it may take longer for the box to startup but would still be much faster than having to do a physical reset on the box every time I use Netflix .....  

Will give it a go while I wait for Sky to update with their solution.

Yep I also have a sky stream and it is only netflix that is doing this, and only on my sky stream. If I watch it on another device it is fine.

I have the same issue Netflix app only. I have to reset the sky steam box every time I open the apl as the picture is horrendous, This really irritating and should not be happening.

We have the exact same problem. One pick works, the other needs restarting to get it back into HD.

Same problem with Netflix. Pixilated on all three pucks. Work after a reboot but have to do this every time it is used. Speed test on Netflix shows 142mbps so speed not an issue

I'm still having problems but it is only with Netflix. All other sites are working ok. Rebooting the puck readiness the issue but when watching again the next day, another reboot is required.

It's been confirmed that the fix for this problem is being conducted on a staged roll-out, so that we can monitor performance as we deliver the fix. Providing we don't come across any problems, we expect the roll-out to complete in the next 7 days. We're sorry for the confusion and any inconvenience this has caused.

Thanks Kev. Great to hear. 
no idea if my device has had the fix yet but last night was the first time in about 3 weeks that Netflix worked right out of the box - no resets of anything. 
could be a fluke, could be the fix. Either way this is positive. 
let's all hope this is behind us and Sky now know what caused it so it doesn't materialise again.
