Re: New Sky OS

I suspect it is only people with the newer type B sky stream boxes that have been invited

Re: New Sky OS

I've received an invite. All my Stream boxes are original ones. I think it's just a random selection process.

Hi @Hoover123

I have Five Sky Stream Pucks, one of them is Type B. I'm not seeing the invite show up in the My Sky App.

I'd highly doubt that, if you were running beta testing for new software you would need to test it across all the different types of hardware its going to run on, so i'd expect the invites to the randomly selecting customers to ensure that all models of pucks and Glass TVs are covered in large enough numbers.

Re: New Sky OS

It says that it has recordings? I thought that could mean Sky Q but Sky Q doesn't use SkyOS does it? It uses its own thing plus that's a Sky Glass Air in the photo. Did upload a pic I think but it didn't work

@PortableCarrot  It does record to the cloud for some content,  others are on demand or via the broadcasters apps, so I suppose the term record as just as good and less confusing then playlisted 🙂
