Re: New Sky OS

Hi

To those that have had an invite, when does the trial begin?

Are trial invites still rolling out, to those that have been selected by Sky?

Thanks in Advance

Barry 🙂

Re: New Sky OS

Re the new "record" description: maybe they're simplifying it to try to convince the Q holdouts that Stream and Q aren't that different after all. (Even though they are!)

@Barry+Mc+Kelvey  Sky don't normally publish any firm dates for software releases as this can change at the last minute.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

@PortableCarrot  It does record to the cloud for some content,  others are on demand or via the broadcasters apps, so I suppose the term record as just as good and less confusing then playlisted 🙂

Also I think the term "Library" is so much better and clearer for people as well.

Re: New Sky OS

I had the invite on all three of my Sky Glass TV's. There was nothing showing about it on the my Sky app.

Morning @WelshGeezer

When you say that you weren't able to see the invite, can I ask

  • When did you check the app?
  • Were you checking at the same time that you signed up via your TV?

So everyone knows, you only need to sign up on one of your devices or in the My Sky app.

Thanks

I checked the app moments before I turned on the TV. I also checked within the VIP section, but there was nothing there. A few minutes later, I turned on my living room Glass TV to watch some TV and there it was, an invite. I signed up there and then. I then checked my other TV's and the invite was showing on them too. Nothing on the app before, during, or after the TV notification.
