Re: New Sky OS
Is there a charge? We've been invited but I'm not signing up if there an additional cost!

No there isn't, what makes you think you would be charged for betat testing OS2.0?

New skyOS beta
The new beta is awesome - but of note they use the wording "record" - is this replacing add to playlist ?

Unlikely, it's possible they are referring to the screen shots available elsewhere

Yeah reference to the "record" screen shot. Sorry read my post back and it doesn't look clear

Re: New Sky OS
Thanks for your reply. When I tried to see what it was it just took me to a join up screen. Did find the explore screen last night. Sky seem to charge for absolutely everything!

Re: New Sky OS
I would absolutely love it if the new OS stops automatically bringing up "watch from start" when you flick to a new channel. So many times I've accidentally started a programme when I don't want to while trying to bring the info bar up. If you want to watch from the start it's an easy enough option to select intentionally

Re: New Sky OS
@Gincap very much this. Unless someone is desperate for a fix or new feature they *know* is in the beta, then only join if you are happy to use buggy software, don't mind if random things don't work or you have to spend time working out how to use functions that you were previously familiar with but have been redesigned.

Re: New Sky OS
Hi
I've not received an invite to the beta 😞 Out of curiosity, does the beta get installed on all you your Sky Glass/Puck devices, or just the one you signed up on?
Thanks in Advance
Barry 🙂

Re: New Sky OS
Hi @mrwwt I fully agree, it is very annoying. I have been on the streaming platform for 4 years now and still get caught out by it. In fact it happened last night.
If my post (or any other) has solved your issue please mark as an "Answer" as it helps others identify the solution
