Looping advert every 60 seconds

Tried everything as suggested, keeps happening on my sky puck abd looping advert for traitors or night manager!? Please find a solution for this.

I know in the other thread this issue was 'fixed' but I didn't even know about this problem until this morning (Jan 28th) when I put Sky on so it's not. No matter what channel I had on, a selection of three adverts play in a loop after about 10 seconds of a program being on. I completely unplugged my puck twice and it was still happening. I restarted shows from the beginning seeing what would happen - the same adverts replayed. And they're really annoying adverts too. So it's definitely not fixed, so please do. If relevant I'm in the West Mids - Rugby. Thanks.

Restarting the puck does not fix this problem. BBC iPlayer fix I posted worked for me.

I tried several restarts, internet resets, refreshed apps and everything suggested in this thread.

Hello I have got a problem I got sky stream Puck and am watching fear the walking dead and it goes on to ads and won't come off them I go turn it off bk on and go to somthing else and the ads just play over and over and it's the same ads all the time I got it playing to see if it just stops but it don't what can I do

I have had enough of watching BBC programme advertisements every 10 seconds. This has been going on since the beginning of January and as paying customers this is not acceptable. It's a complete disgrace that this issue hasn't been resolved. Or even worse an apology for the lack of service. What are you doing Sky????

I turned my sky steaming box on this morning, chose a channel I wanted to watch. I haven't been able to watch anything, all I'm getting is a constant trators advertisment. I've tried everything but it hasn't changed. It may show about 30 seconds of a program and then the screen goes black. Then I'm just getting the trators advertisment.

Come on Kev, are we going to get this sorted out???? Little embarrassing for you all at Sky. Streaming service that can only stream BBC content advertisements!!!

Hi GD1,

I haven't run updates although upon the reset it took longer than usual and showed the Sky logo for quite a while like it was running some. I never use iPlayer or anything BBC - I see some are saying it could be an iPlayer issue, but surely if that's disrupting the whole of Sky output then the BBC need to rapidly sort this out? Putting their content over other channels sounds like a legal suit if that continues, and we're paying for programs we can't watch. I had to leave for work so couldn't extensively try anything like a factory reset yet. If it is the BBC I wouldn't be surprised. Hopefully a workaround is found. I'll try more things tonight.

I have had this problem on one of our Sky Stream pucks. After trying reboots and powering off I found the only thing that worked was by launching Amazon Music, playing a track.

TV then played fine.

Probably doesn't HAVE to be Amazon Music, maybe launching any app might do the trick?

This issue has been going unresolved by Sky for over 16 days. Very poor service by Sky technical department. I think all the customers with this issue should be refunded 16 days subscription costs.

I think I had a similar workaround where I opened the Premier Sports app, picked something to watched, then went back to SKY Sports and the advert issue didn't re-occur. That was last night and I haven't re-tested since.

Its a workaround though, not a fix
