Re: Factory reset

Don't do a factory reset unless you're asked to buy Sky tech support because it will erase all of your account details and you'll cause chaos behind the scenes

All your settings like your playlist are stored on Skys servers so factory resets don't wipe them.

However you should never do a factory reset unless instructed by Sky support as this can go wrong. What sometimes happens is that the factory reset doesn't unlink your device from your Sky account which means you can't relink/reactivate it without intervention from a back office team that can take a couple of days. At least if being done at the instruction of a Sky support engineer whilst on a call/chat they can immediately escalate to the correct team to fix the problem should it occur.

What problem, you've tagged onto an older thread with no context into the issue your having.

There are no direct contacts within Sky, you need to ring the call centre.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.
