I've activated Disney Plus via the My Sky App. Going through the process, I signed in with my Disney Plus details etc. It said my subscription with Disney Plus would be paused, now that I was getting it with ads via Sky.
The My Sky App is then asking me to confirm my plan, but only showing the Disney Plus Premium Plan for £9.00.
Thanks in Advance
Barry 🙂
The activation process looks to cut over the billing 'as is'. If you're already subscribed to Disney+ on the Premium tier, it will activate with Skys billing on the Premium tier and charge you £9 for your first month. Same if your Disney+ subscription is the Standard tier, it will activate you on the Standard tier and charge you £4.
If you want to activate on the Basic With Ads tier, before activating with Sky, go into the Disney+ webpage, go into your account and downgrade your subscription tier to Basic With Ads. Then activate with Sky, It should bring you over to to the Basic With Ads tier without getting charged. You should then be free to leave your Disney+ tier as is or upgrade to one of the higher tiers and 'pay the difference'.
Hi
The Sky Account belongs to my parents, I manage all things Sky for them.
The Disney Plus account is mine, I paid yearly, which ends next year.
If I chose to pay £9.00 for Premium and input my card details, will I just be charged £9.00 a month? I don't want to be charged for my parents Sky Bill each month.
Thanks in Advance
Barry 🙂

Re: Disney+ is Now Included in Most TV Packages!
As mentioned in the Sky help file below
When you switch over to Sky:
- We'll keep you on the same plan you're on now. If that's the Standard with Ads plan your new price will be £0/€0, if it's a different plan we'll give you a discounted price.
- If you pay Disney monthly they'll pause your existing subscription. If you ever become ineligible for this offer, for example if you cancel Sky TV or downgrade your package, your subscription will pick back up with Disney.
- Or if you have an annual plan they'll cancel your subscription, and if you're due a refund they'll do this within 14 days.
- You'll still be able to watch Disney+ whilst your billing moves to Sky, as long as you've completed all the steps below.

Hi
I've read that etc. I just need to know that I'll just be billed the discounted £9.00 each month for Premium, and not billed for the full Sky Package each month, as my parents pay that element.
Thanks
Barry 🙂

Re: Disney+ is Now Included in Most TV Packages!
I thought Disney Cinema channel was supposed to be on 305 my sky stream puck still has Sky Animation on 305. Also I don't need to add Disney + to my sky subscription as I get it free from Lloyd's bank perks. So now everytime I go to Disney+ app it wants me to activate my subscription with Sky. Hopefully that prompt will disappear eventually.🤞.

Your parents Sky TV bill will continue to come out of the DD details on the account, Disney+ is a marketplace purchase and needs and will come out of whichever card details are given.

Don't forget that if the card changes, you'll need to update via the Sky Marketplace account.

Re: Disney+ is Now Included in Most TV Packages!
Are you both trying the activation from the Disney+ app in the Sky Stream apps rail?
If not can you try from that, rather than the promoted Disney+ tile on the top of the Home Screen.
If that still does not work.
Please try a settings restart of your Sky Stream puck and also a broadband router/ hub restart.
For the settings restart;
Go to Settings>Systems Management>Resets & Updates
Select Restart device
Your Sky Stream puck will perform a reboot. It will take a few minutes to complete

You only need to create a Disney + account if you don't already have one. If you have an existing Disney + account you can login in as that and it will link your existing account with your Sky account.
