Re: Disney+ is Now Included in Most TV Packages!

Are Disney+ Cinema Movies not going to be available on Sky Cinema On Demand because Currently I do not see any Disney Movie's on Sky Cinema On Demand (just curious that is all) .

But it was advertised as such by Sky themselves, on a now removed promo advert.

It was spotted by several customers including the one at the top of this thread page.

I doubt it. It would be pretty pointless to do so because they're all available on demand via the Disney+ app which all Ultimate customers now have access to. Those with Sky Cinema and Essential TV will likely have to either watch Disney+ Cinema content live or pay to watch on demand by subscribing to Disney+ directly.

Blank Scren playing anything on Disney +

Not the best start.
I've tried a few different movies on Disney play after activation today.
I get a blank screen on everything.
the Audio ia playing.
if I pause I see the writing and the progress bar, subtitle options etc

 no video though.

I can browsed the menus and select all ok, just no video comes through.
Netflix / Apple TV / Prime Video all ok via the same source.

All that has been announced is summed up nicely in today's press releases;

Sky Cinema customers will get a new Disney+ Cinema channel, a collection of the best movies from Disney+ to showcase the great content in the full Disney+ app experience.
This is launching on EPG channel 305

With around 50 titles at launch, it will blend beloved favourites from Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars, with new movies every week. Films coming soon will include Marvel Studios’ Iron Man, Deadpool and Wolverine, 20th Century Studios’ Death on the Nile, Alien: Romulus, Disney and Pixar’s Finding Nemo and Up.

There will also be a handpicked selection of Disney+ favourites on Sky’s linear channels, bringing some big hits straight to the TV guide, from gripping Star Wars series Andor  to critically acclaimed drama FX’s The Bear and three-part Original series, Coleen Rooney: The Real Wagatha Story.
Titles will air across Sky Atlantic, Sky One and Sky Witness for eligible Sky customers and NOW Entertainment customers.

Not aware of any form of On demand content as you describe.

Have you tried a Sky Stream settings restart?

Go to Settings>Systems Management>Resets & Updates
Select Restart device
Your Sky Stream puck will perform a reboot. It will take a few minutes to complete

If you signed up on the 12th then that is why you have been charged @Cuppat it didn't go live until today.

Restart has fixed this.

I really should have tried that before posting.

Extra charges to be ad free on Disney+

I've got Sky stream ultimate package and pay for Netflix premium and £6/mo to be ad free.

My current subscription with Disney+ standard finishes on 24th March.

To include this on Sky, they're asking for an extra £4/mo.

I am not prepared to pay twice to be ad free. As such I haven't completed my subscription add on.

The system currently only picks up my existing "standard" subscription and won't offer me the basic with ads option. I'd rather have the ads than pay another £4 on top of the £6 I already pay.

I have issues with some channels not being exactly ad free as it is. Anyone else coming across this and what can Sky do to sort it out?
