Discovery plus on Stream - no Olympic streams ???

I also do not have the on screen login.  I have signed out then signed back in and still have no access to the free olympic service

ALL you can only watch Olympics live on Discovery + if you have the premium package at £30 per month.

You can watch any live feeds on TNT1 and TNT2 (old BT) if you have them. You cannot see live feeds on Discovery+ on the standard pacge.

This isn't correct. With the standard discovery + through Sky you can watch all live olympics. Its an issue with the subscription thatvos causing the problem. U do not need the £30 a month TNT package!! Despite what Sky is telling some people

I have spoken with sky and you can only get live olympics on discovery + with the premium package 330 per month  not the standard. You can get all the live feeds on TNT1 and TNT2 (old BT) if you have them.

Combatcook60 this is what Sky tried telling me and a lot of people originally and it is wrong. Even Sky are admitting there is an issue with people's subscriptions where Discovery + have u on a basic subscription and Sky have u on a standard subscription. If you have the standard subscription with Sky you can watch all Live olympics through discovery + as we are doing that now.

I had the same problem but figured I'd just upgrade to the Disc+ premium package which coat €6.99 for the month. I did this last Friday night and by Saturday morning all feeds worked on glass and stream too.

I figured it would take ages to get sorted otherwise, as seems to be the case. Anyway I know it's a cost but it's just for the month and I'm cancelling the Disc + premium after the Olympics.

I'm in Rep of Ireland and have TNT but don't get TNT through Disc +, I have to get it via Sky subscription.

What the Sky advisor has told you is incorrect, a standard Sky advisor is unlikely to know the ins and outs of the details for a non-Sky service.

Eurosport ( and the Olympucs) is provided on the standard tier.

NO SOLUTION BUT - UPDATE AFTER SKY CHAT AND DISCOVERY PLUS FOLLOWUP

Sky: I used another email to log into Discovery Plus originally. Logging in with this should solve the issue.

  Doesnt explain why the linking with my current email works but gets allocated a Basic plan which Sky doesn't officially give out - They start at Standard. Anyway, I digress...  

Discovery Plus (D+): I rang on the phone. Ran through all previous email addresses and none apart from my Sky account email was registered. Told by D+ that this is definately a Sky issue as they tell D+ what subscription is associated with the account.

  The intersting bit of information from D+ - a timeline:

      July 2021            Previous plan - SkyQ. Last update as been with Sky for ages

      Jan 2023           Updated from SkyQ to Stream (Puck)

      Dec 2023          Entitlement change as provided by Sky   (????) Nothing to do with me.

Finally, D+ said that there was a known issue with people changing from SkyQ to Stream and accounts disapearing. Could this be something to do with that and a rushed account resetup, but with some incorrect details?? Anyway, speculation over.      

But it does raise more questions and throws the ball back in Skys court. I've tried getting a response form the Sky chat that is still open to hand this information over and discuss, but no resonse yet.

NOT A FULL SOLUTION - BUT GETS YOU THE OLYMPICS THANKS TO DISCOVERY PLUS

This worked for me. But as stated, it's not a fundamental solution, but a work around from Discovery Plus. 

Talk to Discovery Plus on number in image below.

Send them a picture of your DiscoveryPlus account information.

  Either on the Sky website or through the box take a picture of your account if it says Standard or   

  Premium. In the Apps section of Your Products mine says 'discovery+ Standard monthly'.

They may give you a month or two pass on your Sky associated account.

Might be different for other people but my Sky Stream with free discovery+ works like this:

Press the speech button and say Olympics.

I then see two rows of icons.

Row 1. Two Eurosport channels and two BBC channels and link to BBC iplayer.

Row 2 Lots of Discovery plus live streams : at 19-45 there were 29 streams.

@Bill051 thanks Bill have that a try, but that's just a quick access to the discovery plus app and still not working for me.  Think I'll just have to pay as sky aren't sorting this any time soon

This worked for me too. Spent 40 mins on phone to Sky but still no success until I followed this answer. Has to be followed on TV not through a Sky app

I've activated Discovery + as per the instructions for Sky Q, and I'm told that I'm all set to go..  When I try to watch anything, (I was trying the Olympics), I am asked to upgrade the pass. I thought that the Standard level gave access for free with Sky.
