Can anyone explain EXACTLY what happens when you select to archive a film or program that you have downloaded from Sky Store?
Does it just remove it from your Recordings list but still appear in your Purchased list so that you can just re-download it, or does it disappear somewhere else and if so how do you get it back?
Thanks...

So when you want to download it again you can as it will be in your purchased list.

Re: Purchased films.... archive option
Hi @tanner4
On Sky Q - if you press enter on a movie which you have purchased on Skystore- you will see a menu on the screen - and one of the options (buy and keep movies only) will be "archive"
This takes the body of the movie off your hard drive but keeps the title for future re downloads.

Thank for replying,
When I click on the movie, the movie says purchased and only has option to watch trailer or the film

Re: Purchased films.... archive option
Hi @tanner4
My thinking here is that the movie hasn't yet downloaded on to your hard drive (I'm assuming here you have Sky Q)
So my guess is that in effect - it's already archived.
if you select watch - to watch the movie. It will then download on to your hard drive.
once it's downloaded- you should then see a new option to archive.
