Can i upgrade a rented film to an owned version?

Hi,

I was wondering if I can upgrade a rented movie to an owned one I.e. digital or dvd version?

As cannot locate an option to do this

I think it would be a great idea for Sky to introduce it - but they are possibly scared that people would rent instead of buy - and then not upgrade ?

The only possible thing I could suggest @Qwerty121212 is that from 11am tomorrow- you couid livechat with the  Skystore team and try to persuade them to offer you some goodwill discount on a purchase (on the basis that you thought there was an upgrade option.)

They can only say no?
