Thanks for replying again .Now I get this , everything suggests it's set up on the sky side of things but it doesn't seem to cross over to the discovery app . When clicking on the link you sent me I got this 👇

Can you login on to Discovery plus via a web browser.

Then select either Manage your subscription on the home page when signed in or from the account person icon top right.

In Subscription, is your billing showing as 'Manage your subscription and payment method in your Sky account'

If so, once again select Account from the top right person icon and scroll down to Manage devices and select sign out from all devices.

Then repower your Sky Q box and once up, wait five minutes or so and try signing in, using the sign in button on the Discovery + welcome page.

I get the same message as @StevenGreen whrre everything shows as activated but something isn't connecting to Discovery to tell them. Everything disconnected after I upgraded to TNT sports a couple of weeks ago. Prior to that everything was fine. It doesn't show "subscription managed by Sky" when I go into Discovery. I have gone through all the technical steps with Sky on the phone to try to sort it out (resetting apps, rebooting the sky q box etc...) and they then said they'd tried everything and then gave up and told me to contact Discovery. I did and they couldn't solve anything and said they would escalate things and email me back. That was around 10 days ago and I've heard nothing, although Discovery did manage to activate TNT sports on the app for 30 days. I raised a complaint with sky thinking that may make them take things seriously but after a call back by their technical team yesterday they offered absolutely no solution other than offering to transfer me to customer services to cancel my entire sky subscription or sending an engineer out. I accepted the offer of an engineer and they will be coming out on Tuesday. I have to be honest and say I'm not hopeful the engineer will be able to do more than I have already done, but who knows.

I've been all through the Sky customer service who then passed me to Discovery and they kept telling me that wasn't my email address while I was searching through for different email addresses we got disconnected. 
Tomorrow I say Goodbye to Sky after 25 years. Yesterday I wasted 4 hours of my life trying to sort this out!

I feel your pain . This is what I went through back in march in the end discovery give me a vip pass for 6 months as they couldn't resolve the problem themselves  . This pass has just run out recently which is why I'm in the same situation again. Everything you've just described I went through myself . Sky had me turning off my tv resetting all settings !! Then In the end gave up and passed me to discovery to sort it out .

Hello I have had confirmation of the discovery + but when I try to sign it it says my email address isn't recognised. I am using the same email address as registered with Sky.

Assuming you went through the subscribe process as described in the link below and created a separate Discovery + account with, using an email address of your choice.

You do not just use your MySky account email and password to login to Discovery + on your Sky Q box.

Hey everyone. Just checked and they have resolved the issue. I went into my account on sky app and it allowed me to activate my discovery+. Hope it works for the rest of you's.

I got a message saying they are working on it.  I did try though, and got a stage further, but then a message saying it was still in progress.

Discovery have now done what they did last time, issue me a VIP pass as they can't resolve the issue . They hav no record of my sky account details but according to sky everything is active . Makes no sense at all .

We're having the same issue. Spoke to Sky and they told us we needed to buy a sky stream device as it won't work with Sky Q. On the box all we get is a number telling us to call Sky and online on our account we get the we can't help you right now message. A BT box is probably our next step.
