TV Guide does not load

The TV guide is constantly loading, with the message: "Waiting for TV Schedule..." remaining on screen. We've left it for hours and it still will not load.

We don't have Sky Q but did not have the option for Sky TV in the categories.

@AGodfrey123

If you don't have Sky Q what do you have Sky+, Sky Glass, Stream?

@AGodfrey123 Have you tried rebooting your main Q box ie
putting your box into Standby then switching it off at the wall for 30 seconds
switch it back on then follow the on screen instructions

Hi @AGodfrey123

Try a Reset Settings in the Q box hidden menu.
To enter hidden menu press Home and navigate down to Settings but do not select Settings.
With Settings highlighted press 0 0 1 Select.
Only Carry out the first Reset (Reset Settings) as the other two will wipe all recordings.
After the Reset you will have to re pair your Bluetooth remote If you use one.
If you cannot switch the Q box on with the remote after the Reset press the Standby button (Amber led) on the front of the box.
To re pair the remote press 1 & 3 together on the remote and follow onscreen instructions to re pair.

Make sure that you are pointing the remote at the Q box when you press 1 & 3 together.

Resetting the settings will also reset:

Audio visual settings, such as picture resolution and HDMI control
Settings changed within the hidden engineer menu, include LNB type. If on a communal dish you need to reset the LNB to SCR in the hidden menu. After changing the LNB type you need to reboot the Q box.

Did you reboot or carry out the Reset Settings @AGodfrey123?

@AGodfrey123  Do you have your own satellite dish or are you being served by a communal Integrated Reception System installation?

@AGodfrey123  Can you confirm that your LNB type is set to SCR

Highlight LNB type.jpg

If it was showing  Wideband, change the LNB type to SCR and then remove the mains power from your Sky Q receiver for 20 seconds and then restore mains power to your Sky Q receiver.

Then you need change the LNB back to SCR @AGodfrey123

After doing this you need to power cycle the Q box
