Sound stutter on main event

• It doesn't make any sense. Why on uhd do I no longer have a problem and others are suffering issues. We all bounce of the same satellite. Need a sky expert to explain

Constant sound drop outs on Sky Sports Main

Grand Prix on Sunday was the same but able to swap to F1 UHD Where no problems 

The cricket today has the same problem 

Seems Sky need to sort it out as an engineer is not going to be able to fix a particular channel

Hi, Sky UHD Main Event is back dropping audio again. I have an LG 4k screen and a Yamaha 4k receiver so it definitely isn't me and doesn't happen on other 4k sources. Please sort it's ruining watching sport.

It's becoming annoying.

It's happening to too many people for it to be a fault with our boxes aswell, therefore it's a major issue that needs addressing at the source. Sky need to acknowledge the issue because they will lose UHD subs else.

Back watching the test match in HD as I can't bear it anymore, grateful Sky didn't have the Euros.

Channel 401 is still an issue for me. I have a Sky Q silver original 2016 box. However, if I  watch UHD via Sky sports Cricket or by switching directly to 858 it  works fine with no sound issues.

There was a suggestion further up the thread which has worked for me, select the standard sports channel then use the Red button when prompted to switch to UHD. Clearly indicates an issue with Sky and not end-users.

Exactly the same for me. I think the difference between Main Event and Cricket channel with UHD selected is that the former shows the Dolby Atmos logo in the top right of the screen and the latter does not. 

BTW another comment suggested Sky think this is only a problem for Samsung TV viewers.  I have an LG TV and LG soundbar and I can assure Sky that this is a problem for me.

Are you aware that 858 is only HD not UHD?

Stuttering sound also happens on channel 493 (TNT UHD preview )

CORRECTION

Earlier I suggested selecting the Cricket Channel (404) then pressing select for UHD would not give you Dolby Atmos sound. I was wrong, it does (FWIW). Sorry.

Sound keeps dropping out on this channel and this channel only. Really annoying as I prefer to watch sport in UHD and pay for the privilege! 

Seems a common problem but no solution available that I can find. Please Help!!
