Fair comment @jonep12 but I pay for UHD and watch Sky Sports F1 UHD 406 very rarely will I watch via SS ME.

Me too. CH 401 Uhd/Atmos only.
With and without sound bar, with 4 different HDMI cables, have rebooted, reset, updated etc. Not a Samsung TV.
Sky know it's an issue and seem happy with leaving a minority of users who are bothered by this glitch to complain. The issue has been around for too long

Does no one from the program play out at Sky monitor transmissions for tech quality. I can't believe this has been going on for so long. Does anybody from Sky read these community posts ?

Absolutely mental that this issue still exists. It's happening for every sport on main event. Do Sky even care that we pay more this?

I am having the same problem, very annoying. It's definitely a Sky problem as I am using a Sony HT-A7000 soundbar. Someone please help.

Hi,
I have exactly the same problem. Sound and vsion perfect for 99.9% of the time but very annoying sound drop outs every 15-20 seconds especilly on live sport.
Sky Q box linked to Samsung TV and Sonos Soundbar with HDMI cables.
I see a lot of posts on this topic - What is the answer? I have tried doing the reset on the hidden menu; lots of work logging back into all the apps but exactly the same problem.

There is now answer right now, other than Sky confirming they are looking at it, after removing the Answerer Post in this thread as it was causing confusion for everyone.
This clearly is not fixed, and other than a member of the Sky team saying it's being looked into, there is no fix or eta.
