I've read that there is a problem with the satellite signal. If you don't know where the problem is how can you fix it ?

now what about my loss of recordings and no service and/or tv last night, as I pay for 24/365 not partial?

They rolled back the update to the last version that was working properly.

My Sky Q box still not working this moorning. Pulled plug numerous times then switched back on. Green on light showing but nothing on screen.  Weirdly the mini-box is still woking and I can access recordings on that are on the Q box using the mini box. I don't want to do a hard reset or restore or order a new box until I've exausted all options, because I don't want to lose my recordings. Help!

My TV came up with no connection message last night 9.30pm , rebooted TV and Sky Q box and reconnected but 10 minutes later lost connection again. This kept happening! 
I have never had this issue before with Sky and am disappointed that there doesn't appear to be any advice or explanation from Sky. Tried to phone this morning and there is a message to say they have a systems issue so call cannot be answered. 
Thankfully my TV seems to be OK this morning but think Sky should at least have the courtesy and sense to advise their customers of the issue, an explanation and an apology.

Q Box intermittent signal lss

The Q box runs for 20 minutes then screen message says no signal.  I re boot the box , signal restores , q Bix runs and goes down again after about 20 minutes and repeat

I went to bed last night unable to get my box out of standby after about the 6th restart. Just done another restart this morning, and it still won't come out of standby!

Tv screen goes black no signal

Whilst watching  football match tv screen went black! Had to switch skyQ box off at mains then back on. Later whilst watching a recorded show this black screen happened 4 times , the power on light indicating on box , the blue light on indicating the program was still being played but black , no signal on tv screen , switching box off and on , then going through procedure , got program back on tv screen

SKY Q 2TB Box Going Black Even When in Standby

Sky Q 2TB box. 4K TV and Epson 4K Projector connected through HDMI matrix switcher, Denon amp. Everything has been operating flawlessly for at least two years.

 

Last night the display went black while viewing Apple TV (UHD content) on my Epson projector. Remote wouldn't do anything so I unplugged and restarted. About one hour later it happened again while watching an HD recording on Sky. Again restarted and seemed OK.

 

Then I put the box into standby and started watching Sky news on a mini box, About 15 minutes later the screen went black so I checked the main box and it was frozen again. Restarted and OK again.

 

Tried the minibox this morning and the main box had frozen again with black screen. Restarted the main box again and left main TV on and it's now been working for about 90 minutes.

 

There are several threads about the screen going black while viewing, but I believe this is different because it's happening even when the box is in standby so I can rule out HDMI cables, the matrix switcher and both displays.

 

Any ideas?
