Q box frozen in standby by mode

Tried all trouble shooting but still in frozen mode. Tried calling sky but they are having issues and advised to ring back later.

Sky Q box broken

Every 20 minutes or so the box crashes, black screen, no signal, but the sky box green light stays on but the box is totally unresponsive.

Yes, a reboot of the box is working for many.

There was a massive outage mainly affecting Sky Q (see the mega thread on the Sky Q board).

Sky Q box shutting down

Our main Sky Q box keeps shutting down and then won't switch back on. If I unplug it and restart it, it works for a while and then shuts itself down again. Of course this means none of our Sky Mini boxes in other rooms can connect either.

Last night my box froze during playback with a black screen three times. I could ony recover the box by power cycling it. I've just checked this morning and the software has updated sometime recently to Q310.000.13.00L. I'm going to spend today playing down important stuff on the disc in case I need a replacement box (mine is an original Q so many years old). However this looks like a recent update so maybe that's the problem?

Q box keeps dropping connection after 30 minutes .. need to keep rebooting to get it back up.

It started a few weeks ago where the WiFi would drop and I would re boot WiFi and it would reconnect and work fine for a week or so then I would need to do it again ... Now the Q box drops out completely and when I reboot it connects to mini and WiFi no problem but will only run for 30 minutes and I have to do it again

Same here.  I see many people posting about this and sky is silent!!!

trued to phone this morning and they're not taking calls.  Citing technical difficulties.  This is awful and irresponsible of Sky

Connection issues/add contact

I experienced connection issues last night, tv just went black then lost connection, I believe there was a problem overnight and I have switched off and redone as requested. So far so good. However I am going abroad today, can I give you details of my son in law who lives with me and has my full permission to discuss any issues that may occur

Sky Q stops working

Watching Sky last night when Sky went dark on screen. Box had power but screen just went black. Tried rebooting and it worked for about 10 minutes before going dark again. Repeated and same happened. Completed software update and same happened again. Made sure vents clear but went dark again. Seems to be working this morning for now but worried we have an issue
