Came on here and seems we have the same issue as everyone else since last night: Sky Q box just kept switching itself off, then we couldn't power it fully off or back on by any way other than switching it off and back on again. Left it unplugged overnight and rebooted this morning. But looks like we're all having same issue - good to know!
PS. what's the fix and when?! 😊

Sky no satellite signal last night. Re-booting Sky Q box re/established signal for 7-10 minutes

Last night I got no signal from my Sky Q box on 4 separate occasions after re booting the Sky Box service was re-established for variable periods of time between 7-15 minutes before it failed again. 
The Q box light was green but the box was completely un responsive to the sky controller. 
contact with Sky via the phone number and subsequent Sky link was absolutely appalling, finally told logging in to link after 5 attempts was not possible as they were updating the system!!

 I am paying £140 pcm for this ridiculously poor customer service!!

Having exactly the same issue here too. Happened whilst watching a recording and whilst in (Paramount) app.

 

Reboot via mains switch fixed it temporarily then went again 30 minutes later.

 

Symptoms are black screen with green power light but unresponsive box.

Yes same here as I was watching Eurovision .. kept going off .. I kept turning off from the wall and restarting and it would be ok for a while but then go off again .. gave up and went to bed in the end

  • I also have the same issue. Thought my Tv or Hdmi cable had given up the ghost. Is there a definite Sky Q problem? 2nd Tv mini box can't connect to main box.  Nothing working at this time after several re-boots since about

I thought it was just our box it was happening to, have to say I'm somewhat relieved to see it's a widespread issue and somehthing Sky should be sortong out. I hope it gets sorted soon.

My SkyQ box keeps turning off since last night including the mini boxes

Anyone else having problems with their SkyQ box not working? Has anyone been able to talk to anyone at sky and understand how to fix?

have no satellite system turned off router and its back on again but orange light at side won't go away after pressing for 10 mins
