Yep my solution - settings > preference > eco mode switch to none .

To all those with Sky boxes randomly shutting off (green light unresponsive to the remote control)

To resolve the issue
you need to unplug the box wait a few seconds the plug back in then straight away
as soon as it comes back on

Go to settings > setup > preferences > turn off smart standby and set standby to active

So far, so good for me, all the boxes are working again

I have reset my box 5 times the last time was a good while ago and it seems to be alright now, I hope I havent jinxed it.

And that prevents this freezing issue currently affecting so many Sky Q users ? 

As my Q box freezes within minutes of unplugging and completing the rebooting sequence it's become an ordeal to get into settings and doing any changes before it freezes again.

The software installed is Q300.000.06.00L but don't know when it was updated to this version.

Tried all of the above, sky remote is now unpairing completely.

luckily i have an app of my phone that works- but tried this supposed "Eco Setting" and still crashes after 5 minutes.

If it was That easy- why is Sky Go app down on Other platforms......

to turn off the emails click the joystick next to the bell and go to settings and turn off emails had the same problem and found out how to turn off lol

hitbox to pair the remote press and hold 1 and 3 together until the red light flashes 3 times

Haven't changed any settings. 6 reboots done since problem started. It has now been stable for 50 mins so suspect Sky have changed something at their end.

Go to profile top right hand corner of this page. Then subscription. Choose the reply and choose to delete subscription
