Sky box stops playing every 20 minutes

Whether I'm watching live tv or recordings, after around 20 minutes it stops playing but the light on the box is still green

Mine has been doing the same thing. And now sky q mini not working in bedroom guessing because main sky q box has crashed again!! 

5 times since 9pm was working fine for the 2 hours before that.

Mine is doing the same, thought it was just my box. Asked Facebook as you do and lots of people having the same issue

Yep same issue here. Other members have suggested a firmware update and disabling the standby mode. I'm yet to try it, but will do later on

Well I'm an old phart of 75 with bone marrow cancer and for some reason my sky Q box keeps stopping and no picture on screen but I restart it and it cuts out again after 10 mins. My internet is working fine and my television works fine so at a loss of how to sort it. I actually feel its a problem with sky Q box

I'm having same issue Castle Bromwich Birmingham.  Lasting about 20 minutes max. Happened 5 times now. Very frustrating as App is also down. Sky WiFi went off earlier too, had to reboot the router!

Sky Q keeps dropping out every 5-10mins since around 9.45pm tonight. Have to reboot box and it's ok for another 5-10 mins then crashes again. What's happening?

Now, after about 6 unplugs / restarts, I can't even get the box to come out of standby!

Mine keeps switching itself off. It started doing it at about 9.30pm.

There seems to be an outage according to some newspapers.

About 930 pm my sky q box cut out still had green light but couldn't turn it off and was showing on my TV screen. Unplugged and rebooted. Fine all my recordings failed. So I started watching again then happened again at 1030. And now again 1115. What is going on?

Same with us too. Every 20 minutes since 9.30 or so.

This has started doing this this evening to us about 9.15. Tried rebooting a couple of times and just turns itself off again.

Box just switched off on its own, had to unplug it and wait for it load. Just turned itself off again after about 10 mins

! Could be a long night! I'm off to bed 💤 

Hope it's fixed in the morning
