Sky box switching off

Our Sky box is switching off every half hour and we have to keep restarting.

Anyone else have this problem, or know how to fix it?

Trying to watch sky recordings and keeps freezing and crashing too.even live tv is crashing every 10-15 mins! What's going on?

Same thing has been happening to me over the last hour or so in Keith, North East Scotland. Happened 4 times. Keeps switching off and displaying 'no signal'. I've given up now and gone to bed. Hope it gets sorted soon.

I have unplugged and rebooted 4 times now, seems to fix it for 20 minutes, then starts all over again.

My sky Q box has done exactly the same.

It has shut down 5 times tonight starting around 9:20pm. I have had to power off and on to "reset" the issue but it keeps happening. 
when you power off and on it lulls you into a false sense of security because it works for a while 20mins or so, but then does exactly the same thing

Looks like a nationwide issue with none of the usual fixes working for longer the  10 minutes. 

Extremely frustrating, and no word yet from Sky.

Totally unwatchable service tonight with constant  sky Q crashes and forever having to reset.Come on SKY own the problem and sort it out

Sky box kept crashing from roughly 9.30pm, keep having to switch off from plug, happened numerous times, last time switched off & back on at plug at 11pm, it's still on now 15mins later, fingers crossed it stays on, if crashes again, I'm off to bed to listen to radio, so 😑annoying!! Tyne & wear

We have been having what sounds like exactly the same issue. It only started today but had happened 4 times, 3 of those times while we were trying to watch a TV programme were have recorded.

I've tried disablong  the power options described on this thread to see if that helps.

I have had to do this several times now having to switch off to restart the box just to view TV , I have tried different recordings but it's happening with them all.
