Sky q switches off

SKY Q turned of 3 times - tried to rest twice. Not sure what's going on. We have SKY TV only.

There are other posts all reporting the same issue and calling Sky gets a message saying they are having "technical issues"

Exactly same here

Three or four times this evening. Never happened before. 

Box appears to be on but unresponsive. TV not recognising it. Giving a "no signal" message

Trying to watch TV and any apps and it works for about 20 minutes, then the screen just goes black and says no signal. All I can do is turn it off by the plug! Any ideas what's going on?

Been happening since about 9.30 this evening.

Hi tonight my skyq box has started playing up , picture goes , grren light still on but box is frozen. 
done the online checks and remedies when i switch it off at mains  and wait 15 mins , jt boots up ok and within 5 mins it goes ssme again help pleaae?

You have had a great run for 8/9 years, mine lasted but yes you will need upgraded sky q box soon , tonight many sky users  up and down country with green light on box  but no signal

Same issue here on Netflix, sky tv live and recordings. It's crashed 3 times already tonight and requires turn off of power to reset.

Justaddi g another voice to the same issues: display just goes off, green light stays on Q box, but all I can do is unplug and reboot.

looks like a wider issue, so just have to wait for a fix I guess

Same for us 4 times now. We're trying to watch the darts!

Both my Sky Q and minibox stopped receiving Sky Tv. Have tried to reboot and nothing.

Just went to go on the MySky App and that ain't working either, says they are under maintenance so something is proper messed up!

same fault as others, why no comment from Sky when this is obviously a nation wide problem?

Sky Q keeps dropping out.  Tried switching off and on, and it comes back for a few minutes.  It then drops out again!  Extremely frustrating.  Any ideas what else to try? Thanks

i did that worked for about 20 mins then boom off again
