My system consists of a Sky Q box and 2 Q mini boxes.
My main box has frozen twice in one day and has had to be powered off and then back on. Each time it froze, there was an accompanying bang. Quite distinct, not loud and could be audio. Nevertheless, quite odd.
Any suggestions why? Should I be concerned?

I have spoken to an engineer at Sky and an engineer is due today. Prompt!
I have noticed that TV also had issues connecting to the Internet so 2 devices in the same set up having issues. No problem in other rooms.....
Pulled tv and sky box out into middle of the room, switched off the Sonos bar and connection holding on both devices. Just as Engineer is due....

According to Sky engineer who attended on another matter, there is no obvious issue. The last time it happened was 12 months ago, so I am sticking with my existing box for now and saving the planet. Fingers crossed.

Mine does exactly the same but no bang. Just freezes and has to be power out.
been doing it on and off for ages. fully reset and factory rest but no goot. ok on by its self, (been up for a few days ) been waiting for a new box, but they wont send this out as there is a problem with the internal account. i have never missed a payment etc.
very frustrating and although the chat staff are polite and professional, never get a phone call even when it is booked in for a specific time.
not a happy bunny, thinking of spreading it via social media as no one can resolve an internal issue.
