Looking like a number of you are having similar login issues with YouTube on one or more of your Sky Q boxes.
Please read this thread and try some of the things already suggested, if you have not already, like Sky box restarts and refreshing apps.
It may help some of you.
I have reported the issue in our Superuser closed forum area to make Sky aware of the issue.
Sky Stream with two pucks (Former Sky Q and Sky+ customer), Sky Ultrafast + using Sky SR203 hub. Sky Protect kit tester.

I've restarted my Q box, and it's made no difference. I cannot access YT settings (clicking on the icon doesn't do anything) so I can't refresh the app

Refresh of apps performed on Sky box settings
- Press Home on your Sky Q remote, then highlight Settings
- Press 0,0,1 and Select to access the Installer menu
- Select Apps then highlight Refresh all Apps on this box. You'll see a message that says, 'Your apps are being refreshed'.
- Press Dismiss to return to normal viewing.
The refresh can take up to 24 hours to complete.

I've tried this but don't get an Installer menu. From Settings impressed 0,0,1 but nothing happens. If I press the round button on the remote I get a warning to only proceed if told to do so by Sky, but it's a screen that has LNB and something else, but nothing entitled installer menu

YouTube app issues
Since yesterday, the YouTube app on. my Sky Stream puck has logged me out of my account, and won't allow me to log back into it.
After completing the sign-in steps, I get a screen that says 'Something went wrong - sign-in failed'.
I have reset the puck and tried the app refresh too, nothing seems to be working. Is anyone else experiencing the same?

i have the exact same issue, no matter how many restarts or unplugs i do, the app will not work correctly.
i can cast to it, but it will not let me sign in nor will it show more than 5 random video options.
has sky glass had a recent software update?
Don't know what else to do with it.

Tried everything listed above nothing. Gave the add account a go but just says 'something went wrong' .
Annoyed now as this should not be happening.

@Kris+G23 Have you tried refreshing your Apps via the Settings menu? Might be worth a try.

One of my mini boxes reconnected after refreshing the app. The other simply won't allow login.
Will an update on the issue and resolution be posted on here or do we have to report it to Sky ourselves to be notified?

It doesn't seem to be a general fault - it's working normally for me too. I'd suggest giving Sky a call to report it.

Hi guys.
I have the same issue. I can login fine on the main SkyQ box, but the mini box will not let me log in at all on my profile. I tried to sign in several times since yesterday. Rebooted both boxes.
Main box is still fine.
Mini box - "Something went wrong".

My YouTube app on Sky Q won’t let me login
It started off with missing the options on the left side of the screen.
Following research, I:
Used the hidden code on "settings" and 'refreshed apps' - no change
Rrepeated 'refresh apps' and turned off sky Q, unplugged box for 5 mins. Rebooted. No change.
i then noticed that I had been logged out of YouTube so I've tried logging back in using my google id.
attempt 1 using code on screen and safari and on my iPad - won't work.
attempt 2 ditto (because I couldn't believe it hadn't worked) - no good
attempt 3 logged in manually on tv screen using gmail account and password, then it wanted me to sign in using my web browser to confirm it was me, I did this and I logged in fine on my iPad but the tv made no difference! Got a screen saying "sign in failed try again".
(the YouTube app is working perfectly on my mini Q box upstairs) .
if anyone has any ideas I'll be grateful.
