Exactly the same issue. Almost every streaming service on the Sky Q is pixelating, until the point we are struggling to watch anything streamed. This added to the constant green screen is making this a serious problem. Sky have basically said to wait for an update but in the mean time we are paying well north of £100 a month for a very poor service. Ive been with Sky 20+ years but i think this is now the final straw. Constant price rises for less service! That coupled with the poor sound compared to other devices, makes this an average service for premium money!

My mistake, still same version - why does it let us do a software update if it's already up-to-date 😖

Thanks @Laing1 Contacted sky earlier, they are sending a new box out.

Not this long it's doesn't. If we ran our Business like this we'd have no Customers left! Either the Sky Devlopers/Coders are basically useless or Sky does not care as the money keeps rolling in.

Maybe it has but my box has only just updated itself. Could have been triggered by me updating yesterday evening and it completing it overnight.
What would be helpful is a note in the ANSWER that's there's an update and how to trigger it 🙄

Having said all that it's still doing it - damn it 😒

After 26 years, maybe time to give Sky the old heave ho.

Having the same issue for the last few weeks on Netflix app. Green screens and pixelating. Only happens through sky q. Using apps through TV is absolutely fine. Have reset the sky box. Did a factory restart in case it was a hard drive issue. No difference. Noticed the box seems to be getting hot. Was going to ask box to be replaced but based on others on this thread I don't think it will help. Think it is a box software issue.
come on Sky sort it out.

Engineer booked for this week...seemed 'fixed' so I cancelled. New software today ....back to the world of pixelation!! ITV+, Channel 4 apps affected. I am due for renewal start of 25....I am thinking of change after 30+ years.

@Sky The Pixelation on Sky Q apps is seriously spoiling our enjoyment of movies to the extent that we are now watching app programs via our smart tv instead. How do I get a refund or compensation for not being able to enjoy our favourite programmes using our very expensive Sky subscription? More to the point: this has been going on for months now, when is @Sky going to fix this issue? We all know it's not the internet or the apps so why are you being so slow in fixing this? @Sky

@GrahamRTK I totally agree with you.
Unfortunately I do not have a way of watching the apps on my TV so I really struggle 😔
This has been going on too long and I will be looking to leave after 20 years service.
Really shocking service ( or lack of ) from @sky or if anything, disgraceful
