Sky Q 2TB box stuck

My box seems to be stuck in a loop.

I noticed the blue Q rotating at 8am - I could hear the box whirring too - and switched the telly on.

There is a black screen telling me that I will be ready to go in a couple of minutes; been there over two hours now.

Seems to be stuck at the second stage of three.

It's a new box - three weeks old today; hardly inspiring, is it?

Turn it off at the wall for a minute then power it back on and try again. Hopefully it might spark back in to life...

Well, yes, that would have been my first response, but I was worried that doing this might knacker it completely.
