Sky Entertainment vs Signature.
We are currently on the Sky Entertainment package on Sky Q.
They really did us over when offering a "new free box" over our Sky+.
Anyway, a different story altogether.
I want to get the HD add on, we still only want a basic package, no sports or movies, we don't stream any streaming channels.
I have read that you need to be on the signature pack to get this.
Can anyone tell me what the price difference is between the Entertainment and Signature packs....I bloomin hate trying to find my way around sky's website.
Thanks for any replies.

Re: Sky Entertainment vs Signature.
Hi @Negativepitch42 Only you can tell us the list price of the now ancient Entertainment package. We can tell you that the list price of Signature is £40.50 a month. But you would be extremely unlucky not to be offered a discount. Sky HD list price is £9 a month.

Re: Sky Entertainment vs Signature.
I recently used the chat service to renegotiate my contract - give it a go here: https://www.sky.com/help/articles/cancel-sky-tv
You'll need to switch to Signature of course...

I have no idea of Entertainment prices but I know many people saved when switching, as I did several years ago, but I have additional add ons
I believe the 'List' price for Signature is £40.5 & £9 for HD but you would need to check
With just the basic package you may not be able to negotiate much of a discount
Note Signature includes Box sets (in SD as standard but you want the HD add on anyway) that I think was optional under Enertainment
If you are considering switching to Q then you may, also, wish to read some notes I have made for people considering switching from SKY +/HD to SKY Q

Hi nigea99
We switched to Sky Q a good while ago.
We did have a discussion then, and I think it was you that got me into a private chat with someone from sky about the whole Sky Q catchup etc etc.

Re: Sky Entertainment vs Signature.
Hi @Negativepitch42 Have a look at your bills on the Sky Q box to compare the list prices. Under My Sky.

Sorry I didn't read your initial post properly as you did mention on SKY Q - I just picked up on your second line and made an assumption.
Hopefully Q is otherwise OK for you after any initial problems
I do hope you can negotiate to something acceptable for you - although these days we know deals on Q are not as good as on Stream

Re: Sky Entertainment vs Signature.
I have just been having a quick read and came across this (see screen capture)
We can also get the box sets, but SD only.
Reading this screen capture...I could be reading it wrongly, but we should be able to add the HD on.
Probably best ringing them.
We have been with them for 35/36 years (My wife just worked it out) so they owe us something 😄

Re: Sky Entertainment vs Signature.
Were these snaps taken from a SKY Site or elsewhere - to me they look like AI generated info from elsewhere
You need to be aware that I do not think that Entertainment in those snaps actually refers to the now very out of date 'Entertainment' named Package and refers to Entertainment generically as the base package as opposed to Sports and Cinema etc

Re: Sky Entertainment vs Signature.
How old is that information? Sky subscriptions are now 24 months, not 18 months and Sky One hasn't been a thing for a couple of years at least.

@Negativepitch42 just checked with a friend who is still on the entertainment package (i've tried to get them to move to the signature package more than once) they tell me that the list price for entertainmentpackage is £40.50 on top of that you if you want catchup/ondemand with netflix (ultimate on demand ) its a further £10.00 then HD is £9.00 my friend won't tell me what they are paying so guessing they must have a good deal
I may be a Sky Superuser but I am still just a Sky customer
