Re: Sky Entertainment vs Signature.

I'm reading all different answers to peoples questions on the forum on various searches. (2025 Q&As in June as well.)

Has the entertainment pack been replaced by the Signature, some say yes, some say no. Some say the Entertainment pack is still relative.

I can't find any info on the Sky site, no matter what you click on, it just takes you back to add on's like move pack etc etc.

It's such an annoying site to navigate.

My account lists my pack as Entertainment, but if the base pack is now the Signature, at the same price we are paying now, is mine Signature.

The more you read, the worse it gets.

This is a reply to a June question, ignore the underline red, just the Sky Q part.

SKY Entertainment ceased to be offered to new customers several years ago and was replaced by Signature  - this  is why you won't find it on SKY's current pages as it is a legacy product

You will not be on Signature unless you switched - renewals do still take place for legacy packages - I think some may still be  on Variety (Entertainment's predecessor)

Re: Sky Entertainment vs Signature.

Going through my old posts, We upgraded to Sky Q from Sky HD, in June 2024.

On the HD we were on the entertainment pack, when we upgraded to the Q box, they kept us on that, but we lost some features as they said the ones we lost (I can't remember what they were) were no longer on the latest entertainment pack, and we would need to upgrade.

So, I'll ring them tomorrow to find out what's what....and my next question to them is, can you put me on the Signature for the same price as we are paying at the moment...always worth a try... and then go for the HD pack from there....unless I can wangle it in.

Re: Sky Entertainment vs Signature.

Just thought I would update you after ringing them today.

Spoke to a very nice lady.

The package we had before was the old entertainment, and broadband (not fibre) we were paying £83 a month.

After speaking to this lady, she went and had a word with her manager.

They have given us, Signature (ok, still the base pack) plus HD, plus netflix with ads for £73 for two years.

I wasn't sure about the netflix bit, so I rang them back and spoke a different, very nice lady.

She had a look and confirmed it all.

Then she said let me have a look at your internet, she said that we could have fibre 100 cheaper than we are paying at the moment for our bog standard ADSL connection, so I went for it.

So for the lot, it has gone down to £60 for two years...not a bad days work.

HD, Netflix with adds, faster internet (we have 65mbps download on our ADSL at the moment) for £60...plus a new Hub on its way.

Hi @Negativepitch42   Just remember you will get two annual price rises, in April 2026 and April 2027. The two years is the minimum term.

Re: Sky Entertainment vs Signature.

I can't see the first one going over £83 though? Even if it does, Our old package will have still gone up anyway, and we would still be very slightly quids in on the new package.

Re: Sky Entertainment vs Signature.

I was a bit late to edit my post.

Yes, I worded it wrongly in my long original post.

£60 excluding any future price rises..
