I have Sky Q on main TV in UHD. Bought two pucks which will not let me view UHD content. Called Sky and was told "Pucks don't support UHD".
Can someone advise? I see lots of chat saying Pucks do support UHD.
Thanks.

Sky Q Mini boxes have never been capable of UHD output.
Sky Stream pucks are, but that's a different product.

I don't have Sky Glass. Normal TV with Sky Q box and two pucks.

Then those aren't 'pucks'.
Q Mini boxes date from 2016 and top-out at HD. Stream pucks are from 2021 and capable of UHD: Stream is an online-only platform and not a satellite television system.

No you don't. Pucks are for Glass or Stream. You will have Sky Q and two mini boxes which are not capable of showing UHD broadcasts.

Thanks for your help.
That info is not nearly clear enough on Sky site for non-experts.

From Sky but as has now been explained to me, they are Sky Q mini-boxes and not pucks. I was unaware of the difference.

Yeah it was well publicised at the time that minis didn't do UHD. But now that Sky have other, kind of similar products which do, and 4k has become pretty ubiquitous, it's easy to get caught out by this.
