Problems connecting additional box to main Sky Q hub….since alterations putting in Fibre

Need an Engineer to visit to fix problem with connection.  Have tried everything it tells me to do but it will not connect.  It's probably something simple that the engineer will see but being a pensioner I'm finding it impossible.

Have you now got a white Sky router?

The connection between the mini and Q has to be direct if you do.
