It's a separate section for Marketplace subscriptions - I am guessing changing the card in it would apply to any others from the Marketplace

Re: Paramount+ upgrade
If I go into the bills section of the website [and presumably the app as well], and go to change my payment method, I can still see the existing direct debit there, so it looks like I now have separate payment methods for the standard bill, marketplace, and Sky Store.
Based on this then I agree it looks like it doesn't change the way the standard bill is paid.
Having said that, they have made life complicated for customers and for Sky themselves by having different billing methods and presuably different billing systems, but that was the cause of the issue, so we live with it.
If anyone wants the marketplace bill to go to the same place as the direct debit for the standard bill, of course just use your debit card.

It doesn't.
I don't know why they have this approach, but like you also suggested, I just used the card linked to the same account the main Direct Debit came out of anyway.

Re: Paramount+ upgrade
Two days ago I upgraded on Sky Glass from Paramount+ Basic with ads to Premium by paying the £6.00 monthly subscription which was taken instantly from my credit card but in the My Sky section of Sky Glass it still says the upgraded plan is "Starting Soon" but my Paramount+ is still basic with ads.
Why has it not upgraded me?

Re: Paramount+ upgrade
I have been able to solve my issue, which was error MYSKY_2302.
This was caused by there being no TV device associated with my account. The support person thought this was due to a cancellation (but I resubscribed with a better offer before leaving).
As soon as my Sky Q box was added back to my account it worked.
