I received a short while ago by Email, as a VIP customer, an offer of 6 months free Paramount Plus Subscription. I am not a Sky Cinema subscribe,r as they autimtically receive this channel. However despite continually trying i was not able to access this offer it would not connect I decided to phone Customer Services for advise and after an extraordinary long wait to be connected, I managed to speak to an advisor. They were not very helpful. They confirmed the offer was genuine, but this was a technical issue so they could not deal with it. They did not try and connect me with a Sky employee that could help. So much for Customer service. Has anyone else encountered this problem, and if so how did you resolve it and receive the 6 months free subscription. It would have been nice to have this additioinal channel offer for the Christmas period

I had the same issue earlier in the year and could not resolve it. My Sky send VIP members offers and then not deliver is a waste of time .

Fair comment @WayneHolliman the process is quite easy but you need to set up a Paramount+ account first you'll also need to set up a card payment but no monies are taken if the code in the email link is pasted in the redeem code/voucher correctly
If done correctly it should look like this
I don't have Sky Cinema but got the 12 month offer process is the same as the 6 month offer

I had the same issue. I contacted Paramount plus directly. The offer code wasn't going into the promo offer code when I visited the website

I also have exactly the same issue. I did Email Paramount Plus direct some days ago.to see of they could help but I have received no response from them. Why do Sky give this VIP offer when they do not deliver. Nothing is ever straightforward with them

I totally agree .I also endevoured to contact Paramount Plus tom ascertain the saituation but I also did not reeive any reply or answer. Sky had obviously reinstated this offer to some VIP mrembers recently.I did not get a second one

Diito .We were offered frre subsciption as VIP to Paramount Plus by Emai. it not activate. Tried contacting Paramount plus on their standard form and got a automated response with a reference number over a week ago but silence since. I spoke To a sky Representativve yesterday together with a Netflix connection issue. He advised me I needed to get in touch with the VIP team re Paramount Plus, but he could not transfer me. An utter farce

There appears to be several different posts on the subject of the free 6 months subscription to Paramount Plus offered to VIP customers, it is a pity they are not all combined, as it would show that a number of customers are experienced the same problem. What makes it more annoying is that Sky customer services cannot or will not assist and Paramount Plus themselves do not respond to queries, despite issuing an automated Email, with the case reference number, but then a continued silence from them. Is there anything we can do to get this issue investigated, as there must be something wrong ,as we all received an Email from Sky inviting us to take up the offer. Help please.

My six months free ends this week so I contacted Sky this morning in order to cancel it.
Well the person on the chat didn't know what I was talking about, said there was nothing on my account about Paramount+. I don't want to now be charged for it.

Sky Q - Press Home on your Sky remote, then select My Sky at the bottom of the screen.
You’ll then see a screen with your purchases. Select Your products. You’ll then be asked to enter your Sky TV PIN number.
Then follow the prompts to cancel.

If the deal was set up using a code on the Paramount+ website then you'll need to cancel it there.
Login to the Paramount+ website with the email address and password you used when you set up the free subscription, go to your Account info (top right) and the option to cancel should be in there.

I have again received an EMail this week as a VIP Gold customer offering me 6 months free of Paramouht Plus. No codeb. I tried to connect but no luck . so I got through to customer services who ask me to get the Paramount plus app upon my TV ,which I did. He then advised me the offer was for Sky Cinema with Paramount plus for a reduced fee of £10 a month for 6 month. He concluded there is no offer for Paramout Plus free without Sky Cinema. If this is try to say lest the offer is misleading .Anyone else had the same issue

@HalcyonDays have you checked the VIP Giveaways in the My Sky app?
I also have the 6 month free offer and I don't have Sky Cinema if you didn't receive a code in the email you need to redeem the offer via My Sky VIP Giveaways
Redeemed a 12 month offer last year without Sky Cinema so you were advised wrongly.
