Power outage 3 days ago. Lost home phone line and broadband. Home phone back on day 2. Broadband back day 3. But no connectivity between hub and router
Rebooted etc but no change. No apps working. Broadband working from mobile

Have you carried out a Network reset on your main Q box?
Network Reset found in Q box Home - Settings - Setup - Network.
Highlight Status and then select Reset on the right hand side. Follow instructions to connect by WiFi to your router.
If you are on Sky broadband you will be asked to press the WPS button on the Sky router. (Not on the Q box as the Network reset will start the main Q box WPS automatically). Make sure you press the WPS button on the Sky router and not the reset button.
if you are on 3rd party (non Sky ) broadband then you need to enter the SSID and password for the router 2.4 Ghz WiFi band.

In my ignorance I got the 2 boxes mixed up.. what was suggested worked. Perhaps the boxes should be different colours or markings on them to distinguish them from each other for laymen like myself? Thanks to all helpers

Which 2 boxes?
Edit: Oh the Sky Q box and the "Sky Q hub"? Have you got one of those routers? Stupidly named and yeah they do like quite similar to the Q box - 3 status lights instead of just the power one and I guess most people don't have them both near the TV though.
