New Sky Q box installed

New Sky Q box installed - but can't get on demand or get back recent programmes. Can't use TVx either .  New box installed yesterday

What does "can't get back recent programmes" mean?

 

Is it connected to the internet ok?

If this is your idea of helping - not happy with your rude  comment   I said I could not get on demand and should have said catch up tv! and yes I am connected to the internet!

As this is the first time I have used this community help line, owing to your reply, I will not be using again !

Hi @Valerie18   Is your new box software up to date and not on the old delivered software. Home -> Settings -> System Info. It should be Q270. Just in case you are not aware, this is a public community forum and not Sky customer services.

It was intended as a serious suggestion - the subject is the only thing most people see in the list of threads, so putting the actual problem there means it's more likely that someone will see something they might know about and click on to offer advice.

 

 

So does the on-demand stuff like movies work but the catch-up menu doesn't?

I may be a Sky Superuser but I am still just a Sky customer
