Network app

Is there or will there be an app to access a NAS drives on sky q?

I have loads of backed up movies on my NAS but currently have to switch to my Fire stick to watch them.

Wondered if there was a sky q app store too

@MyZich

Unfortunately the answer to the question is no, nor will it ever be likely to happen as Sky Q is an aging product now.

Q apps are baked into the software and Sky decides what's there.

It is unlikely in the extreme that they'll bake in a media player.  More open systems (e.g. the Firestick) are likely to have a DLNA player etc.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own

Re: Network app

I use our TV to access the NAS drive through an app called Plex as it is installed on both the TV itself and the NAS drive.
