Re: Netflix app crashing/won't load

I have looked at the answer on Page one. I think that it assumes that you have a Netflix account ?  If your Netflix is a listed App that you have purchased as a part of your SKY Entertainment pkg I do not think that you can access any Netflix account and so that answer is of no use.

I am in that situation as I think are many of the individuals who still have this issue

Re: Netflix app crashing/won't load

I have mine through Sky and was able to access the NETFLIX account. Done it through the Netflix website.

Netflix app does not load on main box

Hi.  The Netflix app does not complete loading on my main Sky Q box as it launches and the spinning red disc appears and remains before it is supposed to ask which profile you want to select.  I have rebooted the Sky Q box several

times with no resolution.  Other apps launch with no issues

The Netflix app works with no issues on both Mini boxes however

Has anyone had this before?  Thanks

Hi @Geezert

First thing to check is that all Q boxes are on the same software version

Try logging into the Netflix site using your Sky email and password.

Re: Netflix app crashing/won't load

You should be able to watch Netflix from any device I. E a phone or a laptop as you are a paying customer  and not only limited to watching on sky q box.

Re: Netflix app does not load on main box

Thanks.  Both are running the same software version - Q220.000.23.00L (5lrke0s).  I left it loading and it eventually got there, not sure what the issue was but it seems to have resolved itself now

Re: Netflix app crashing/won't load

Hi, yes, I can watch on all other devices but not SKY Q. All other Apps work on SKY Q.

I have tried to log onto Netflix.com using my SKY details and they are not recognised.

My Netflix is now working again, perhaps because I refreshed the App ? But this is typically a temporary fix.

Thanks - Ian

Re: Netflix app crashing/won't load

Hi, I'm afraid this did not work for me - the Netflix App is buffering on Sky Q.

Re: Netflix often not working on SkyQ

i am  like so many of you. having a sudden loading issue with netflix through my sky Q.

i have tried all that i can.

from unplugging box  rebooting broadband, refreshing apps  swapping hdmi cable round. its takes for ever to finally load netflix  i have to the proccess so many times aday.

it strange how there was no problem  with netflix untill end of august time then suddenly i could load netflix as just buffering, i'd then do the steps above and it would be fine for abput 2-3 days then i would have to go through the steps again to try and load.

now i have issue everday and if i come out of netflix it then wont reload so have to spend forever to get it back up.

i have been on to sky so many times  and netflix to try and get them to rectify the fault.    sky have finally admitted they do have ha fault their end but cant say what it is and how long before fault  has been sorted.

i think sky need to act on issue far more quickly  and compensate their customers.

Re: Netflix on sky q will not load

Do you do this while Netflix is trying to load or on the Home Screen? Is the back button the menu backup button or the rewind, I've tried all combinations. Thanks.

Surely a sky engineer should be commenting on this.
