Hi, I have the membership with sky with upto 4 members. I use 1 for me in my household, 1 for 2 others in 2 different households. Does anyone have any ideas how the new netflix all in 1 House works

I believe you will get prompted to set which is 'your' household.

Other households will not work afterwards.

Unfortunately there is no way, currently,  to take out the 'additional household' add on via SKY -  it is  only availble via direct subscriptions with Netflix

Worth noting that's always been outside of the intended use of such a subscription: it's just that Netflix are now going to enforce this.

Unfortunately we might have to suggest they do without a few avocado baguettes each month and pay for their own Netflix subscriptions.

Then duck ; )

Re: Netflix Extra Member

Unfortunately I may stop subscibing via Sky, and transfer to a new account with Netflix direct. Reading up on it, this is possible and one can transfer a profile.

Change Netflix account

Hello

So we get Netflix included with our package and pay the extra £8 for Netflix Premium. But with my dads Netflix account.

With password sharing now not in Netflix's plans, how can I remove his Netflix from my billing and add mine?

@oxfordmark  You need to contact Netflix directly get them to unlink the current account then you can link yours

Re: Netflix Extra Member

Nobody seems to have asked the obvious questions (to me)

1) Does this change count a a change to the contract that Sky provide, as they are no longer providing the service I pay them for.

2) whatever the case, if I remove the Netflix from Sky in order to add extra members, presumably I'd be entitled to that money back that would otherwise have been part of the package that how now changed.

I doubt it, you're paying them for access to Netflix and that is still being provided. The Netflix terms have always forbidden sharing your account with people outside your household, but they're only now starting to enforce it properly.

Changing Netflix Account on SKY

Hello

I was using a family members netflix account, registered to my Sky Account to pay for it but with the new household rules - I wanted to change it to my own Netlfix account - how do I register the new netflix account as the one linked to my Sky Account?  Ive logged into it on the App on SkyQ but assume there will be more to it than that.

Thanks
David

Re: Netflix Extra Member

Forbidden is a strong word.. as one time they actively encouraged it, it was a selling point.

I guess my question now then is around the 2nd thing

Re: Netflix Extra Member

With regards to point 2, you could just remove the "Ultimate TV" add on from your account. This is the Netflix component. Netflix via Sky is discounted so removing Ultimate TV may not cover the full cost of a standalone subscription.

Re: Netflix Extra Member

That would be fine thanks.

Couldn't find an obvious way to remove it from the package and wasnt sure if it would impact my minimum term (not long got a new deal)

Guess I have to ring them as they seem to have got rid of chat .

Netflix Bundle password problem?

It's being reported that anyone who gets Netflix via a provider like Sky will not be able to add the £4.99 cost on for a password "share". Could be an issue if you get a an email from Netflix.

@redsky88

That's correct: currently providers which bundle Netflix in their own subscription platform (such as Virgin, BT and Sky) cannot offer the Netflix 'extra member' option which legitimises long term use away from the subscribing household.  Both Netflix and Sky do identify this in their Help pages, but not in those emails.
