My Sky Q box doesn’t have an R for record

Should all SKY Q customers be able to record. If so, how do I record from my remote as it doesn't have an R? Thanks!

@RoseS45  all sky Q remotes have a record button, it being the red button. See below..

@RoseS45that is a Glass/stream remote which doesn't have a record function. Are you sure you have Sky Q?

@RoseS45Looks like they sent you the wrong remote. Was it a replacement ?

@GillianK if you have Sky Q then that is the wrong remote that is a Sky Glass remote and wont work for recording on Sky Q you will need to get a Sky Q remote

my nan has recently got sky however the remote doesnt have R button, could she request for remote control that does have Record button on it as she doesnt really use apps etc

Does your Nan have a SKY Q box which is connected to a Satellite dish via 2 cables (or 1 if using a communal Feed) or just a small box called SKY Stream that connects to wifi/the internet ?
