I pay for multiroom subscription so my child can watch their programmes from a different room to our main tv. If I decide to pay to have another SkyQ mini box fitted in a third room, will my multiroom subscription double in cost or do I just pay for the SkyQ mini box to be fitted in an extra room?

My hardware version says 32Bxxx so I am guessing this means we will be able to purchase another SKYQ mini as this will bring our total mini boxes to two.
You will be able to loan another mini box.

Re: Multiroom - cost for extra rooms
@Clara56
Sky will loan you a maximum of 4 mini boxes. You can watch Sky content on two minis and the main box at the same time. You may be able to use a third mini box if the first one in use is being used for a streaming app ie: Disney+. That limit does not change if the main Sky Q box is not being viewed. Remember that UHD content can’t be viewed on a mini box.
The original 1TB (non-UHD) Sky Q box only allows one mini to be in use. To check if you have the non UHD 1TB box check in:-
Home - Settings - System Info - Hardware Version
If it shows as 32Cxxx then you have a non UHD 1TB that only supports 1 active mini box.
All 2TBs and the UHD/HDR 1TB permit two mini boxes. Each mini box which is loaned to you may be subject to a one off upfront charge but you only need one monthly Multiscreen subscription.

Re: Multiroom - cost for extra rooms
The Multiscreen subscription you are already paying will cover up to four Mini boxes, of which any two can be in use simultaneously (assuming you have a main Q box which can support that)
BT Halo 3+ Ultrafast FTTP (500Mbs), BT Smart Hub 2

I do have a Q Box yes, we replaced a really old box a couple of years ago. In fact the techician who came to set it all up for me said my old box belonged in a museum! LOL!
