Multiple issues on SkyQ box

My main Sky Q box appears to be faulty.

The issue started with recordings freezing and stuttering during playback. It then began affecting live TV as well, with messages saying: “There is a technical fault with this channel. Please try again later.”

The box has also become very slow and unresponsive. At times it will not change channel at all, and the on-screen preview window has gone black. I have already power-cycled the box by switching it off at the mains and restarting it, but the problem keeps returning.

At the moment the fault appears intermittent, but it is continuing to recur.

HOW do I book an engineer or get a replacement box please ?

Take especial note of the advice to remove the viewing card and to have the old box ready for the doorstep swap.
