HD channels have gone

Tonight some of my HD channels have reverted to SD, these include sky one, sky atlantic, sky witness and e4. How can I get them back to HD?

@Race0311

Its always worth starting with a reboot of the main Sky Q box, then once that’s back up and running do the same with any mini boxes if applicable -
~ Using the remote put your main Sky Q box into standby
~ switch the box off at the plug
~ wait at least 30 seconds and then switch the box back on at the plug
~ follow the on screen instructions
~ when the screen goes blank and the blue Q stops pulsating wait another 30 seconds
~ press the 🏠 button

Allow 5-10 minutes before things hopefully revert back to normal.

Re: HD channels have gone

I've tried this and it hasn't worked, I want to call Sky about it but can't find a phone number anywhere!

You probably still have access to them but for some reason the 'Smart' switching of the EPG has flipped them

Try looking in  further down the channel list in the 800s

I hear you, it seems Sky (like many big companies), have decided to prioritise digital help and self service where possible (and to be fair, there is a lot that can often be solved this way), therefore a phone number can feel as rare as rocking horse poo!

The best way I have found is to work through a digital help flow, one as close to the issue you have as possible (you might choose account issues if all of your HD channels have disappeared rather than a Q problem), then you are interested in the "Yes, I still need help" option to try and generate a number.

Best to login first with your Sky ID to aid authentication. Start here: https://www.sky.com/help/sky-tv/sky-tv-q

Then look for this...
