I have already a subscription to disney+ do i need to cancel and resubscribe or is this done automatically,  I don't want to be paying twice for this?

Hi @ChrisW0122   If you correctly follow the activation instructions, your billing and savings automatically change over to Sky. Do not cancel with Disney+ as that will confuse everything and you will lose your existing profile information.

Disney plus

Has anybody actually got it to work?

And is Sky actually doing anything about it?

No Dolby vision ?  I  know sky uses hlg but it's clearly not as good as the app on tv  I have refreshed apps on sky q box

hi @true

Not on SKY Q - SKY Q boxes are pre-DV becoming mainstream and do not have the hardware.

Disney + UHD on SKY uses HDR10

Personally, along with others,  we  suggest using the TVs own app or other 3rd party hardware as these are usually newer hardware & often support DV or HDR10+ (the latter as used by Amaozon prime) - I mainly  use my  Firestick 4k myself

SKY Q apps are probably more suitable for those who prefer th convenience of not switching between devices rather than quality

Your apps probably will re-appear shortly - if not , perhaps try another refresh

Re: Unable to Activate Disney Plus on Sky

I've tried everything they say update Q box update sky apps switch power on and off etc but nothing works. Sky have got shocking always putting prices up but worse services I can't wait till Autumn when my contract for everything is up for renewal & then it's all going, tv, broadband & phone

They take a while to re-install after you do that Refresh. Why did you do it anyway?

This offer is about getting Disney+ cheaper, doesn't mean the Q box is necessarily the best place to run it. No 24Hz, no DV.

Yes. Worked fine, took about 2 minutes to transfer my existing account and move the Premium billing over.
