When you first go to activate D+ you need to click on the Disney+ tile in My Sky section of SkyQ box and NOT the tile under the Apps menu.

When i first tried it i went to Apps menu and was unable to activate so i went to My Sky >>> Sky shop >>> click on Disney tile.

@Mandy7777 you've posted in the Sky Stream forum. I'll move your post to Sky Q.

Disney

Our son pays for disney can we still use his disney+ being in his name, provided it is standard that he pays for, if so does this mean his account will cease with disney and won't be able to use the disney app on his phone and just use it with sky only, and if so will disney be on sky go. Thank you.

Re: Disney+ is Now Included in Most TV Packages!

I have had Disney Plus through Sky for a good few years. Last night did the activation thing to change to Sky Marketplace and paid £9. But I have now had an email from Disney saying "Your subscription provided by Sky has either ended or been changed to a different plan. As a result we have resumed your previously paused subscription billed by Disney+.

Your next billing date by Disney+ is 25 March 2026.

I am the same this morning.Activated the Disney Channel & then asked to pay £4 per month.

Unsure why or what happens next

I have sky signature which it says includes Disney + but as I've just confirmed my accounts to link it said I'm paying £4 now then every month after? Is this right too? It's starting to get confusing for me! 🙈

Re: Disney+ is Now Included in Most TV Packages!

My April Sky bill shown through the menu on the Sky Q box is still showing a £15 fee for Disney+. My understanding is that it should only be £9 going forward. What do I need to do to make sure that I'm paying the correct amount? I thought I'd read somewhere that it would be automatically updated?

Is anyone getting this? Telling me i need to activate

Then no option to activate on the app subscription bit

In attempting to activate the app I've also been charged £4 by sky (for no ad subscription, it wouldn't let me move forward without doing it) and £5.99 by disney because they wouldn't let me into my account without payment.

hi @Frayie

Did you transfer from Disney +  & did you have the Standard No Ads tier (or alternatively select this upgrade) ?

£4 is the current cost via SKY of  upgrading to the Standard No Ads tier

Managing Disney+

I have just seen that Disney+ is now free for Sky Q accounts. I already have an annual plan without ads for Disney+ (directly with Disney). Will I be able to add additional users to the Disney+ account with Sky once I switch?
