Re: Disney Plus linked accout

I get similar, but with €7 for the premium option. If I try to complete the process by putting in card details, it fails. No error message, just a page titled "We're Sorry".

Okay. Not seen this covered yet so here I go.

I have a separate annual sub. Given the issues around the refund, I won't be switching my current sub to Sky right now. But my current sub is also on a different email address to my Sky sub.

So can I add a new, basic-with-ads sub to my account now, using the same email address I use for Sky and then, later on, move my existing sub over?

Thanks.

Weird! I logged in with my "sky" address and it still loaded my current, non-Sky, account.

Re: Disney Plus linked accout

I'm also having the same issue, when I go MySky Disney+ it says I already have it linked! But then when I scan the QR code it's telling me to buy a subscription

I cannot activate my Disney+ app as asking me for credit card details?

Since it's paid separately via Sky marketplace rather than through your Sky bill you will need to enter Visa debit or CC details, if you're activating the Standard with Ads then there will be no actual charge.

@gillesam  Contact Disney for assistance has only they can unlink accounts, this information has been confirmed as the proper route by sky

do not take no for an answer from Disney if they try and pass the buck back to sky

So I contacted Disney+ about this and they referred me to Sky! This is what Disney+ said:

"Thank you for reaching out to us regarding your concern of activating your Disney+ from my Sky subscription to another account. Technically that is possible.

I can see that there is a cancelled account linked to this email. It is not allowing me to use it. We have 2 options here. We can use a different email, not this *****@sky.com or you can reach out to Sky and let them change the email address on their end."

When I said it should be raised with Disney+ they said:

"It should be raised directly with Sky. I will also provide you the case number so if Sky contacts us, we can provide insights to them. The case number is ###. There is also another option, this is to cancel your active Disney+ from Sky subscription and to re enroll it using the correct email address."

I advised I couldn't cancel it and they said:

"This is the issue that we are having right now. Since the subscription is from Sky, only them can cancel it. They didn't give us an option to manage your accounts thru our system. I had a similar concerns earlier and he was able to cancel it by reaching out to Sky."

So I contacted Sky to see and passed on the information above from Disney+.  They said to contact Disney+. I said I had already done that and provided the case number. After lots of back and forth and being asked to reset my Sky Q box, no idea why as that had nothing to do with the issue, the person I was dealing with said:

"With your permission, can I cancel the Disney+ subscription and then you can re-enrol it?"

I said yes and got the following:

"The cancellation will take effect on Wednesday, 18 March 2026. I've successfully processed the cancellation today. Please try to subscribe again after a few hours using the Sky Q box and ensure you enter the correct credentials."

That was at 16:45 today and the Disney+ subscription against the "wrong" account hasn't been cancelled and is still active. It is also still showing as "Already Yours" in My Sky.

I'll leave it until tomorrow or Friday but think I'll need to contact Sky and/or Disney+ again, unless anyone has any other ideas?!

Re: Disney+ is Now Included in Most TV Packages!

I have free Disney+ with my Sky package.  I set it up on my iPad using another email and a new password.  Today I got an email from Disney+ saying I had an account,  Alas I cannot get Disney+ on my TV but after a long call with Sky was told there was technical problems and would be sorted in a day or two.  How do I link the iPad with a different email/password to my Sky account,   I do not want to pay for the iPad account and would be happy to cancel if necessary and just keep it on the TV.

Please help me sort this out.  Thank you.  [Removed]

Re: Disney+ is Now Included in Most TV Packages!

Do they just do it automatically in a few days? I linked them last night and the email I've had from Disney since isn't loading? Thank you for your reply.

Thank you, I'll wait and see what happens next then. Hopefully it's as easy as Sky and Disney have said it's going to be.
