I've been emailing them back and forth for nearly 6 months now.
I've asked where the customer services is based and who the Director of the service is - with no reply

Great news I've finally got Discovery plus working again 😀
How 🤔 yes I'd signed up activated my sky q box's got it working then bang same as most you've got Discovery plus just sign in but only did this via web browser .
PLEASE TRY WHAT I DID
In your discovery plus account on line go to your account then select manage device then I removed my device closed my tab .
Then go back to Disoveryplus.com/link
Enter your details & Preston it says enter your code to activate your device .

Just on the phone again now to SKY about this, second call now today and I have to say support of late is terrible. Different excuses, no one seems to have a clue... now I've been told you have to have an active SKY sports subscription to get free Discovery+

Your way didn't work but I phoned discovery + and a guy said that even though account might be linked with sky it hadn't with them. He resolved it in 2 minutes by me giving him an alternative email which he linked back to sky. Fixed in 2 minutes. The number was the one using the help link on sky but for some reason won't let me post it.

So basically hit and miss as to who you get via SKY support then by the looks of it.

Yep. But it was a discovery + worker this time so was really lucky as sky were useless

I did contact Discovery first and they told me to contact SKY 🙄 Will give Discovery another go. Thanks everyone.

I used the number that was on the help line of the sky/ sign in/ register page. I clicked need help connecting then it can up somewhere with a number

Currently back onto support and to be totally honest I think I'll change provider when my contract is up as the sheer lack of incompetence and lies is unbelievable. I've worked in tech support/customer support over the years and I'd be embarassed to offer this level of service.

You should try asking them at Discovery who their Head of Customer Services is, or Techncal Director or where they are based
I think I've asked those questions at last 10 times with no response.
Maybe they operate out of a garden shed in Croydon!!

Its now with the Sky cancellation team to try and fix, so waiting on a phonecall back from them about it in the next few days. Will keep you all posted.

Just cancelled everything with them this morning. Fed up with excuses, different stories, issues going unresolved beyond acceptable timeframes... I don't know what's going on internally with Sky but its a sure way to lose customers.
